Corrie graduated as a privacy lawyer in 1996 and worked at the regulator (now the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Since 2001, she has worked as an independent advisor for the public and healthcare sectors. In her consulting practice, she answers questions about the lawful use of personal data within the public domain, in partnerships with third parties, within the Safety House and social neighborhood teams. She is an expert in the field of undermining and fraud detection and conducts privacy impact assessments. Mr. Corrie Ebbers is a member of the Privacy Law Association, the Dutch Association of Data Protection Officers. She is editorial secretary of Privacy & Information and editorial board member of Wolters Kluwer's Module Privacy.
