Mr. J.F.A. (Francis) Joung CIPP/E is a lawyer by birth and worked as a privacy specialist in the financial sector from 2002 to 2016 in various roles, including as in-house counsel and compliance officer. As a privacy consultant since 2016, Francis advises clients in various industries, including universities, financials, energy suppliers and municipalities to make their organization and processes privacy compliant, but also practical and workable. He takes care of the complete package, so from the (risk) analysis, drafting policies and procedures to their implementation. Francis is also active as Data Protection Officer and Privacy Officer. He has more than 2,500 hours of experience with DPIAs in a variety of sectors.
