G. (Trudy) Veninga (1963) is a trainer in communication skills, specializing in the political practice of council members and administrators. In 2018, she founded The Political School(depolitiekeschool.nl). She coaches, mentors and advises individual politicians and political groups, and helps municipal councils make debate attractive and empathetic. Trudy has been politically and administratively active for over 20 years. First as a city council member (2002-2010) and then as an alderman (2010-2016) and regional administrator (2014-2016). From 2007-2010, she worked as a council communications consultant.
