Rob Jetten (1987) has been Minister for Climate and Energy in the Rutte IV Cabinet since January 10, 2022. Before that, he was Member of Parliament for D66 since March 23, 2017, and parliamentary group chairman from October 9, 2018 to March 18, 2021. He was again from May 25 to September 28, 2021. Previously, Mr. Jetten was a city councilor (parliamentary group chairman) in Nijmegen and chairman of the Young Democrats. He worked for ProRail as regional manager of construction management in the northeastern Netherlands. Until his election as group chairman, Mr. Jetten was spokesman for economic affairs, climate and energy, gas extraction, rail and democratic renewal. After that he was involved in medical ethics.
