Martine van de Merwe is a privacy expert and the driving force behind PrivacyLab Netherlands. She has worked in the past at both profit and non-profit organizations, including as an IT audit manager and Certified Information Privacy Professional. With PrivacyLab Netherlands, Martine helps make healthcare organizations and their employees aware of the importance of privacy and information security. Martine is also co-founder of Security Awareness NL, a professional platform for security awareness professionals in the Netherlands. For her commitment to this platform, she was awarded the title "Security Culture Person of the Year 2017" in Oslo in 2017.Martine is also the author of the book "Care for Privacy.
