Last summer I completed my master's degree in Information Law, and I am interested in the intersection between technology and law. I want to further develop myself, eventually as an attorney, in this area. I was looking for a boutique firm in the field of IT, privacy and AI, where high-level work is done while paying attention to a healthy work-life balance. In that respect, I have come to the right place at The Data Lawyers!
Before this, I worked for two years at a commercial company as a legal assistant and procurement officer. I think this helps me better understand what a client really needs in practice.
The developments in artificial intelligence and how European legislators anticipate them interest me greatly. I hope to explore this topic more in the coming years.
I believe it benefits everyone when organizations properly comply with privacy and data protection laws and regulations. By helping organizations, I hope to do my part in this.
If I had to choose another profession, I think I would go for investigative journalist. The work of investigative journalists who bring wrongdoing to light fascinates me. In doing so, I think they make a very useful and unfortunately often undervalued contribution to our society, especially also in the field of privacy and tech.
