The Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP) has issued an opinion on the Amendment Act limiting access to UBO registers.
The purpose of the bill is to limit access to the UBO registers. So that no longer anyone can look into it, but only specifically designated parties.
UBO registers contain information about the ultimate beneficial owner (UBO for short) of companies and trusts, among others.
