Jan. 28 is annually dedicated to privacy. On this date, the Data Protection Treaty was signed in 1981. This treaty formed the basis for European privacy protection.

On Privacy Day, we want to pay extra attention to this important topic. To make citizens aware of the rights they have in the field of privacy, but also to draw the attention of governments and companies to the responsible use of personal data. A good time for privacy officers and data protection officers to also pay extra attention to awareness in their own organizations.
It's not always easy to draw attention to the topic of privacy in a fun way. That is why this year we are coming up with an updated privacy pub quiz. The quiz is designed to encourage organizations to be active in protecting the privacy of residents and employees. The quiz provides a low-threshold way to practice privacy issues that arise in municipal practice.
For example, do employees know what constitutes special personal data? And is a misdirected e-mail always a data breach? These, and other questions, help make your organization's employees more aware on the topic of privacy.
