Does your organization offer digital services that young people can or should use? If so, you can refer them to the Digidingen desk. This website is designed for young people between the ages of 14 and 21. You will find understandable information about all the digital matters that young people need to arrange with the government and other organizations.

From the age of 14, young people must start dealing with the government and other organizations. In most cases, this is done digitally. Think of applying for DigiD or reclaiming payroll taxes from a side job. And those who are about to turn 18 also have to start applying for health insurance and care allowance.
Through simple texts, videos and step-by-step plans, young people learn what they need to arrange with the government, and how to do it. Each topic also tells them where they can ask for help if they can't figure it out themselves - where possible with phone number and email address.
A portion of young people know little about digitale overheid. These young people often cannot find government information. They also sometimes have insufficient language and digital skills to use the schemes that are available to them. For example, 1 in 3 mbo youngsters do not apply for care allowance. This is evident from research by Stichting Digisterker and the Nibud mbo-onderzoek 2021.
