EDPB publishes final version of guidelines on third-country transfers and training materials on AI
The European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPB) approved the final version of the guidelines on Article 48 of the AVG at its last plenary session. These deal with the sharing of personal data with authorities in third countries, and were drafted after a public consultation.

In addition, the EDPB presented two new projects from the
Support Pool of Experts (SPE), which provides training materials on artificial intelligence and data protection.
Finally, the EDPB discussed a request from the European Commission to jointly advise the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) on a draft proposal to simplify documentation requirements under the AVG.
