EU invests €1.7 billion in digital innovation
The European Commission is allocating €1.7 billion for digital innovation between 2025 and 2027 through the Digital Europe Program. This investment should help Europe become stronger and more independent in digital technologies.

The funds will be used to further develop artificial intelligence, data processing, cloud infrastructures, cybersecurity and increase digital skills within Europe. The Digital Europe Program focuses on companies, knowledge institutions and government organizations involved in the development and implementation of digital technologies and services.
Dutch parties can participate in the openings and possibly use additional national co-financing. In addition, the Ministry of Economic Affairs is making additional budget available for topics that are not fully funded by the European program.
