The Center for Crime Control and Safety (CCV) has launched the Digital Basic Security SME quality mark. The quality mark is intended to help SME entrepreneurs choose certified ICT service providers for digital security. By displaying the quality mark, ICT service providers demonstrate that they are able to correctly implement the security measures set out in the Digital Security Risk Classification (RKIDV).

This provides greater clarity about what customers can expect from the services and makes the market for these services more transparent. The security measures are based entirely on thefive basic principles of digital resilience, as defined by the DTC and the NCSC.
Certification of ICT service providers is expected to be possible next spring. As soon as these certified services become available, entrepreneurs can easily see which service providers offer the service with the Digital Basic Security SME quality mark viahetccv.nl/bedrijven. This helps them make an informed choice and gives them confidence that the cyber measures will be implemented professionally and in accordance with fixed quality requirements.
The quality mark is part of an extensiveset of quality marks and other instrumentsintended to help promote cyber security. The Dutch Association of Insurers has been involved in its development through the Cyber Stakeholders' Board.
