Today, a Norwegian court confirmed that Grindr violated the GDPR by sharing user data with advertisers. This also confirms that Grindr must pay a fine of 65 million Norwegian kroner (about 5.7 million euros). The case was based on a complaint by the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet), which was supported by noyb.
