The quality of registration of custody of minors has improved, a pilot in seven municipalities shows.
The pilot was designed to investigate the differences in the registration of authority between the Central Register of Custody (CGR) and the Key Register of Persons (BRP). By presenting the differences between the registrations in the CGR and the BRP to municipalities, 723 authority records in the BRP were adjusted in a pilot. This improved the quality and reliability of authority information on minors.
Due to the success of the pilot, it is proposed to set up a periodic comparison for all municipalities; the findings will then be placed in the Quality Monitor. Municipalities will be properly informed and instructed in advance on how to resolve the differences. The preliminary planning is that this can take place at the end of 2023; thus not counting for this year's Self-Assessment.
