The Rule Aid Reliability Levels (hereafter: Rule Aid) has been updated. The user-friendliness and thus the usability of the tool has been significantly increased with a number of interventions. With this online interactive tool, public service providers gain insight into the classification of their services on the basis of questions. This is an obligation of the Digital Government Act (Wdo). Classifying services is a first step for service providers in the connection process to the Access System.
The redevelopment of the rule aid was largely done with user feedback and at the initiative of the Access System Program. The main change is that the existing set of questions has been cut into 3 parts. These can be worked through separately. In the original rule aid, each classification always required answering questions from previous modules as well.
The questions themselves have not changed in content. However, the number of questions to be completed has been reduced. For each block, it is indicated what information is needed in advance for preparation. There is also an additional explanation of legal terms in a separate appendix.
The Wdo sets stricter requirements for access to government services. The Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK) is developing the Access System. This makes it easier for service providers to securely connect to all authentication and authorization services, both public and private.
The Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) has developed the rule aid based on the Ministerial Regulation on Reliability Levels.
You can find the updated Rule Help reliability levels on the website of BZK (link to other website). Want to know more about the login levels or have a question? Take a look at the frequently asked questions about the entry into force of the Wdo on the website of Digitale Overheid. You can also register as a service provider for various events via the Digital Government events page.. For example, for the online meeting on the implementation of the Wdo.
