The standard processor agreement municipalities version 1.00 is ready and published. The new standard agreement came about in close cooperation with municipalities and suppliers and with the support of the Taskforce Together Organizing.
Reason and purpose
It has proved complex to reach agreements on the processing of personal data based on already existing models. After an inventory and discussions with municipalities and suppliers, it turned out that it is indeed possible to reach standard agreements on the parts that are required by law. The standard processor agreement contains these parts. The purpose of the document is to make it easier for municipalities and their suppliers to reach agreements on the processing of personal data.
This product contains the municipal standard for a processor agreement. This standard is used as a supplement to a main agreement to make further agreements on the handling of personal data.
Mandatory
On the initiative of the Taskforce on Organizing Together, the standard processor agreement municipalities will be presented to the Board of Services in September for adoption as a standard. In principle, municipalities and suppliers are obliged to use this standard. If parties do not do so, or make changes to the standard, they must record reasons why they do not use the standard or deviate from it.
