Guide Policy on logical access security BIO

The Information Security Service (IBD) has published a guide with instructions for setting up logical access security within municipalities.

10 January 2020

Logical access security is an important aspect of municipal information security. Logical access security ensures that unauthorized persons cannot easily access municipal information systems and the information within these municipal information systems. This may also include business information from third parties, of which the municipality is not the source owner, if it is accessed and made available via the municipal platform, for example Basisregistratie Personen (BRP) and Suwinet. All users of municipal information systems should be authorized, according to logical access security procedures.
