Telecom Agency has published a report on the digital security of IoT devices. Among other things, the study shows that many consumer devices connected to the Internet are inadequately secured.
The "Internet of Things" is growing rapidly. The devices are being developed with new functionalities in mind, with security and privacy receiving relatively little attention. There are many examples of security incidents caused by insecure IoT devices.
To understand the current state of security of IoT consumer devices, the Netherlands Radiocommunications Agency investigated the digital security of these devices.
Manufacturers of products studied were asked for their responses to the report. These responses are compiled here in a separate download.
