WP29 October 4, 2017

Published

The "DPIA Guidelines," from the Article 29 Data Protection Working Party, provide guidance to organizations in determining whether to conduct a DPIA. A DPIA is conducted to assess whether the personal data processing is necessary and proportionate. A DPIA also aims to help manage the risks to the rights and freedoms of natural persons associated with personal data processing by assessing those risks and determining measures to address them.
