Municipalities have had increased responsibilities within the social domain since the 2015 decentralizations, including in the areas of youth assistance and the Social Support Act (Wmo) 2015. Municipalities are expected to commit to integral collaboration by professionals that transcends the various domains. The need for data (exchange) in this context is sometimes at odds with privacy legislation as laid down in the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG).
