ANNEX XII
Transparency information referred to in Article 53(1)(b) - general purpose technical documentation for AI model providers to providers further along the AI value chain who integrate the model into their AI system
The information referred to in Article 53(1)(b) shall include at least the following elements:

A general description of the AI model for general purposes, including:
|
a)
|
the tasks to be performed by the model and the type and nature of AI systems into which it can be integrated;
|
|
b)
|
The "acceptable use policies" that apply;
|
|
c)
|
the release date and method of distribution;
|
|
d)
|
How the model interacts or can be used to interact with hardware or software that is not part of the model itself, if applicable;
|
|
e)
|
the versions of relevant software related to the use of the AI model for general purposes, if applicable;
|
|
f)
|
architecture and number of parameters;
|
|
g)
|
the modality (e.g., text, image) and format of the input and output;
|
|
h)
|
the license for the model.
|

|
A description of the elements of the model and the process for its development, including:
|
a)
|
The technical resources (e.g., user instructions, infrastructure, tools) needed to integrate the general purpose AI model into AI systems;
|
|
b)
|
the modality (e.g., text, image, etc.) and format of the input and output and their maximum size (e.g., length of the context window, etc.);
|
|
c)
|
Information about the data used for training, testing and validation, if applicable, including the type and origin of the data and curation methods.
