Processing of personal data concerning criminal convictions and offenses
Personal data relating to criminal convictions and offenses or related security measures may be processed under Article 6(1) only under the control of public authorities or if the processing is authorized by Union or Member State law providing appropriate safeguards for the rights and freedoms of data subjects. Comprehensive records of criminal convictions may be maintained only under the control of public authorities.
