Independence
The Committee shall act independently when performing its duties or exercising its powers under Articles 70 and 71.
Without prejudice to requests by the Commission referred to in Articles 70(1)(b) and 70(2), the Committee shall neither seek nor accept instructions from anyone in the performance of its duties or the exercise of its powers.
