A supervisor is authorized to examine items, subject them to inspection and take samples thereof.
He is authorized to open packages for this purpose.
At the request of the interested party, the supervisor shall take a second sample if possible, unless otherwise provided by or under statutory provisions.
If the examination, recording or sampling cannot be carried out on the spot, he shall be authorized to take the items for that purpose for a short time against written evidence to be issued by him.
Samples taken will be returned to the extent possible.
Upon request, the interested party shall be informed of the results of the examination, recording or sampling as soon as possible.
