Where there are two or more elevators in a shaft, adequate technical measures shall be taken to prevent persons, while working in the shaft on one of the elevators, from being struck by parts of an adjacent elevator.
If taking the measures referred to in the first paragraph is not possible, the danger referred to in the first paragraph shall be prevented by stopping the adjacent elevator.

Comments
