Police data shall be or may be made available to competent authorities in other Member States of the European Union or to bodies and agencies established under Chapters 4 and 5 of Title V of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, which are entrusted with the tasks referred to in Article 1(a) to the extent that this arises from a legal instrument under the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union.
By general order in council, further rules shall be laid down on the provision of police data, referred to in the first paragraph, as well as on the further processing and the conditions to be imposed on the use thereof by recipient authorities or international bodies and agencies, and on the receipt of police data from other member states of the European Union. Without prejudice to specific provisions in a legal instrument referred to in the first paragraph, the conditions may not deviate from the conditions for comparable transmissions of police data within the European part of the Netherlands.
