Article 19 (provision to third parties incidental)

In special cases, the controller may decide, insofar as this is necessary for a substantial public interest, in agreement with the competent authority referred to in Articles 11, 12 and 14 of the Police Act 2012, to provide police data to persons or bodies for the following purposes:

  • a.

    the prevention and detection of criminal offenses;

  • b.

    maintaining public order;

  • c.

    Providing assistance to those who need it;

  • d.

    Exercising regulatory oversight.
