State Secretary Knops offers two reports: 'Assessment framework ICT assignments' and 'Good examples in software development'.

Herewith I offer you the updated Assessment Framework ICT Assignments and a collection of good examples in the field of software development. I had announced these results in the letter(1) of January 27, 2020 to your Chamber on lessons learned as a result of Operation BRP.
The ICT Procurement Assessment Framework was established at the time in response to the Elias Commission and aims to support the government in the area of tenders for projects with an ICT component of at least €5 million. This updated framework helps clients and purchasers involved in ICT tendering to make choices about how to structure the dialogue with the business community and the tendering process. It also identifies relevant developments in ICT procurement by the rijksoverheid. Various tools are listed that can be used by clients in projects.
The collection of good examples in the field of software development contributes to knowledge sharing and building within the central government. This also reduces some forms of vendor dependence and it strengthens the position of the central government in the field of software development.
