Minister Adriaansens (EZK) informs the House of Representatives about access to finance and investment in digitalization SMEs, also fulfilling the Graus motion.
Dutch SMEs have proven to be agile in recent years. Still in the aftermath of the corona crisis, many entrepreneurs are now faced with the consequences of the war in Ukraine and sharply increased inflation. It is therefore important that entrepreneurs continue to invest in sustainability, digitalization and productivity growth. This requires access to finance. With this letter I inform you about access to finance and investments in digitization, thus also fulfilling the motion of member Graus.1 The Kamerbrief on start-up policy that was promised for the first quarter of 2023, I will send to your Chamber before the summer. This will also include my strategy on venture capital for innovative SMEs. In that letter I will also address the commitment to Member Dassen on the consideration of whether the Netherlands will invest in the ETCI fund.2
