Do you want to get started with data-driven work within your organization? Then check out the decision aid data maturity.(link to other website) This is one of the knowledge products recently launched by the Program Realization IBDS (Intergovernmental Data Strategy). The tool helps organizations to work responsibly data-driven.

Recently, some 150 participants in an online meet-up were introduced to the decision aid data maturity. The tool describes action perspectives for an organization to gradually become more data mature. This means: the extent to which an organization has the necessary capabilities to work effectively data-driven.
The decision aid defines 4 levels:
Beginning: The organization sees limited use of data.
Basic: The organization recognizes the importance of data-driven work, but few people in the organization have the right competencies to analyze, report and present data.
Advanced: The organization has integrated data-driven work into many, but not all (decision-making) processes.
Expert: Data-driven work is woven into the organizational culture.
Not every organization or team needs to become experts, but for those who want to grow, the decision aid provides practical guidance. It describes in clear steps what the road to a higher level can look like. And what actions are involved.
