Report: 'Quality information system of basic records 2023'

The System of Basic Records is of great importance for government services. It contains essential data on addresses, persons, companies and geo-information, among others, which are compulsorily used in many government processes. Such as when granting benefits or licenses. This makes it imperative that this data be of high quality. For many years, data quality within the system has been maintained at a high level. The new report provides detailed insight into the current data quality. And shows how it continues to develop.

Moving forward to a Federated Data System

In the coming years, the Basic Registration System will be further developed into a Federative Data System. For this further development there are several trajectories in the field of quality. There are working groups concerned with standardizing the description of data and service quality. New agreements for data quality are also being drawn up jointly. Furthermore, in the annual CBS measurements on links between registrations, extra checks are made and consistency with new registrations is measured.
