The threat of cybercrime has never been greater for business and government. Hackers are targeting any organization where there is money or valuable information to be gained. So help from the partner channel is more than welcome, but security partners need to know what's going on. WatchGuard is reaching out to partners through the TeamRed On Tour road show. The cto of the security company, Corey Nachreiner, gives Channelweb a preview of the three security trends the business community is struggling with.

Zero-day malware: traditional anti-malware solutions fall short
'Cybercriminals do everything they can to stay under the radar of detection systems. One trick is to continuously modify and disguise malware so that traditional recognition systems based on a malware signature do not recognize them," Nachreiner says. 'They also develop new malware at a rapid pace for the same reason. We classify both phenomena as zero-day malware: malicious software that has not been recognized before and has not yet been included in global antivirus databases.'
