Collecting data for research, requesting and sharing personal data, managing (persooons) data when policy or process changes. Privacy comes into play in everything. Also when it comes to legal, ethical or practical issues. The tool Privacy-aware leadership of RijksAcademie voor Digitalisering en Informatisering Overheid (RADIO) helps you to make the right considerations and take steps in every situation. Without having to dive into theory first.

The Privacy-aware leadership tool consists of 6 routes. These routes show per situation which responsibilities you have within the legislation and regulations (such as the AVG) and which measures you must take (or have taken). The routes also show when you can call in specialists for advice. Think privacy officers and security officers, but also lawyers, contract managers and procurement consultants. These are the 6 routes:
You modify a process.
You are creating a new process.
You create or modify policies.
You will receive an information request.
You will receive a perusal or deletion request.
There is an incident.
The RADIO website has more information about the routes and stopovers(link to other website) .
The 6 pathways are designed primarily for managers, but anyone can use them. They help teams, departments and organizations to better and more easily assume their privacy responsibilities. Want more information and/or to request the toolkit? Go to the website of RADIO(link to other website).
