As of June 1, Rob Bertholee joined the AP's advisory board. He was appointed by the Minister for Legal Protection for a period of 4 years. In doing so, he succeeds Jeannine Peek. Her term ended earlier this year.
Rob Bertholee's arrival strengthens the council's knowledge and experience in the fields of law enforcement and national security. For example, he was head of the General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD) and had an impressive career in the Army.
Rob Bertholee is currently a member of the advisory boards of The Hague District Court and Public Sonar. He is part of international think tank The Alphen Group and is on the jury of the Ien Dales Integrity Award. He was executive coach at Intercoach until this year. As an independent entrepreneur, he still uses his knowledge and experience to coach (young) leaders at various organizations.
With the accession of Rob Bertholee, the Advisory Board again consists of 5 members. In addition to Rob Bertholee, they are Alexander Pechtold (chairman), Marleen Stikker, Ineke Sybesma and Eric Tjong Tjin Tai.
