The rules around information provision are becoming increasingly important and complex. Especially within partnerships, it is often difficult to determine exactly who is responsible for publishing documents or making a website accessible, for example. The new VNG roadmap offers concrete tools for dealing carefully with government information. In this way, the publication makes it clear:

  • What types of partnerships there are and what their legal status is

  • Whether and how the Woo, Wmebv and the Bdto apply

  • What obligations apply in terms of openness, digital services and accessibility

  • Who within the partnership is responsible for what.

The guide is intended for anyone involved in processing and making government information available within a municipal partnership. Think lawyers, policy advisors, information professionals and staff of implementing organizations.
